Lavatera Mont Blanc (Latin Lavatera mauritanica)

An attractive cold-resistant plant with large, bright, open flowers will decorate your garden until late autumn. The height of the plant is 50-60 cm. The flowers are bright white in color up to 10 cm in diameter. They are used for planting along fences, on a flower bed, for cutting.
Sowing in the open ground in May. The depth of seed embedding is 0.5-1 cm. 2 weeks after germination, the seedlings are planted according to the scheme 35x40 cm. Lavatera prefers sunny places (it can grow in partial shade), it is undemanding to soils.
Care after 3-4 weeks from germination, the plant is fed with a complex mineral fertilizer. During the dry period, the plants are regularly watered.
Flowering is from July to October. To stimulate the formation of new buds, the faded shoots are cut off. It blooms with dazzling white flowers. It will decorate any place in the garden. It is especially beautiful in combination with the "Red Bow"variety. The alternation of white and red is simply amazing. Cut flowers stand perfectly in a vase for up to 7 days.
