A tropical plant 3 meters and higher in height, in indoor conditions it can reach 1.5-2 m.

The leaves are ovate-cordate, with well-defined diverging lobes, from 50 to 90 cm long and 40-80 cm wide.

A peduncle with a yellow-green cover, the spadix is equal to the length of the cover.

The fruit is bright red berries.

Use - as an ornamental plant.

Prefers a warm, humid location with diffused light, does not tolerate drafts and direct sunlight. The soil is well drained, rich in organic matter.
