The trunk is straight with dark gray cracking bark, the shoots are brownish, pubescent with a chamber core. The buds are thin-haired, yellowish, apical up to 12 mm long.

Leaves up to 25 cm long with 11-15-23 (25) narrow lanceolate leaflets up to 7 cm long and 0.7—2.2 cm wide with a long-pointed apex and rounded base. The edges of the leaves are finely filiated, glabrous, only hairy from below along the veins.

The fruits are spherical, 1.5-2 cm in diameter. The endocarp is thick-cored, grooved, smooth, dark brown in color.
