Walnut of the giant variety is a medium-sized tree, intensively growing walnut with regular fruiting, reaches a height of 8-9 m. By the age of 16, 5-6 m., it is wide-crowned, quite powerful. The occupancy rate of nuts is very dense, by the age of 15, this giant variety produces more than 40 kg. of pure walnut kernels, on average 1000 - 1200 pieces of fruit from the tree.
The nutty fruit is quite large on average 3 cm. Inside the walnut, the kernel is very good at mastering the place in the shell of the fruit. The color is comparable to the color of white wheat, straw, light with small brownish tips.
"Giant" is the second most popular variety of walnut, characterized by large fruits and unpretentiousness to climatic conditions.
