Pseudotsuga Glauca Pendula is a cultivar bred in Germany in 1891. It has a weeping columnar crown. The blue needles that grow on young shoots in the spring from sharp elongated buds give the variety extreme decorative effect. It reaches a height of 3.5 m, the width of the crown of a mature plant is 2.5 m. The crown is drooping, wide and unevenly developed. Cones of yellow-brown color 5-10 cm long.
This variety is the most popular and favorite among designers, its appearance strongly resembles a blue spruce.
