Eucalyptus Hybrid, Gum tree, Wonderful tree (Latin Eucalyptus hybrida).
An evergreen shrub or tree up to 100 m tall . The trunk is straight or curved, often covered with secretions of gum called kino. The crown is diverse — broadly pyramidal, ovoid, almost tent-shaped, weeping and a number of other forms.
The leaves are simple, dark green, glossy, leathery.
The flowers are collected in small inflorescences – brushes and resemble puffs – have many long stamens of white, orange, red, pink color.
Eucalyptus has immunomodulatory, bactericidal, disinfecting and antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
Prefers light soils.
Like most tropical plants, eucalyptus develops well in conditions of a large amount of light, but it is also undesirable to put a pot under the scorching rays of the sun. A clear sign that the tree lacks lighting is the stretching of the stems and the paling of the leaves.
