The Yellow Shag 103 variety is grown exclusively for the sake of obtaining the highest quality raw materials with excellent aroma and taste and is one of the best Soviet botanical varieties of shag.
Medium-sized, sparsely leaved. The leaf plate is medium-sized, evenly expanded. The shape of the leaves is round-heart-shaped. The number of leaves is 14 pieces. The central vein is medium. The color of the stem is light yellow (cream).
When maturing, a yellow tint begins to appear in the leaf, and by the time of collection, the leaves become yellow-waxy. The length of the growing season: from planting to flowering - 36 days, from flowering to ripening 44 days, the full growing season takes about 80 days.
A perfectly acclimatized variety, the seeds of which, once in the ground, winter well and germinate next spring. Medium-resistant to viral diseases. All parts of plants are suitable for the production of smoking raw materials.
