Shirazi is a compact low bush, on average up to one and a half meters. The leaves are sessile, smooth, light green, elongated and pointed, arched, the largest up to 40 cm. The average quantity is 17 pieces.
The variety is considered early-ripening, the ripening period is 60 days. Unlike other basmas, it is quite strong. After lying down, it has a very soft, fragrant taste. When sun-dried, it acquires a golden color, when shadow-dried, it becomes darker and a little sharper, but more fragrant.
Another unique feature of Shirazi is that the tips of the leaves, as a rule, curl up in the shape of ears or beak. Classified as oriental, named after the Iranian city of Shiraz.
