Viburnum ordinary occurs most often in the form of a bush up to 4 meters. Small pointed leaves with a heart-shaped base. The shrub blooms in small white-pink flowers with five leaves or form small inflorescences. All flowers are placed on new shoots. The growing season begins in late spring and lasts about two weeks. Later, small round or slightly oblong fruits are formed with a large flattened bone. The fruit is quite juicy, but slightly bitter and astringent. Therefore, it is necessary to wait for the first frosts, so that all the bitterness goes out of them. The fruit can be safely consumed in food or to prepare medicinal teas. In addition to its usefulness, the bush has a very attractive appearance.
