Bald apricot (Lat. Armeniaca)

A hybrid type of apricot. The peculiarity of the bald apricot is that it looks like a plum, feels smooth to the touch, and the taste completely corresponds to the taste of an apricot.

You should select a place that is completely protected from the effects of wind. This is a heat-loving plant, so it should be planted in a lighted area, but exposure to open sunlight should be avoided.

Apricot does not get along well in insufficiently moistened sandy soils, where it ages faster. Chernozem should be excluded, since in such soil apricot trees bear fruit late.

USDA Hardiness Zone: 5 (-29°C to -23°C).
