Privet quihoui seeds, Privet tree, Deciduous shrub, White flowers, Flowering berry shrub (lat. Ligustrum quihoui).
Medium-growing shrub up to 2 m in height. It has beautiful small and hard leaves and large ones, up to 20 cm long.
The plates in the lower part and young shoots of the bush are slightly pubescent; the length of flowering panicles can exceed 15 cm. It blooms in July, not profusely, for 10-12 days.
Used for lawns and flower beds, hedges and rock gardens.
Loves a sufficient amount of sunlight, but can withstand short-term shade. However, it is best to plant it in places where there is no shade from tall trees or buildings. Grows well in slightly acidic and slightly alkaline soils with a suitable pH range of 6-7.5. It is best planted in deep, fertile, humus-rich, well-drained sandy loam or clay. It adapts well to the soil and has a certain resistance to salts and alkalis. Not picky about soil. The key is to keep the soil slightly moist and not dry or overly wet.
