The spines are absent or few in number, strong, shiny, 1-2 cm long.

The inflorescences are loose, complex, multi-flowered, glabrous, 5-7 cm in diameter. Flowers are 1.3-1.8 cm in diameter, with white petals.

It is very decorative, has a beautiful crown shape, blooms and bears fruit profusely.
