Overgrown calyxes of the Moldavian snakehead; Inside there are fractional fruits, consisting of four single-seeded lobes. The flower of the Moldovan dragonhead, like other species of this genus, vaguely resembles the head of a snake (dragon).
The flowers are pale purple, on short pedicels in six-flowered false whorls. The calyx is short-haired, two-lipped; corolla 20-25 mm long, white or bluish-violet, pubescent on the outside.
Blooms in July - August. Fruits in August - September. It blooms 60-70 days after sowing and blooms for 45-50 days.
