Matricaria matricarioides, Pineapple matricaire seeds, Wild or Falsechamomile, Disc mayweed (lat. Matricaria discoidea)
An annual densely leafy herbaceous plant, low, reaches a height of 8-30 cm, naked, with a characteristic smell. The stem is single, branched in the upper part. The leaves are double-pinnate, with linear pointed flat lobes, sessile, alternate. At the ends of the stems are inflorescences-baskets. Unlike chamomile, pharmacy baskets sit on very short pedicels. The baskets are medium-sized, consist of greenish-yellow four-toothed tubular flowers on short peduncles, there are no lingual flowers. The younger is convex-conical, hollow, glabrous. Blooms in May-September. The fruit is an achene. Seeds are up to 1.5 mm in length, ribbed, without a tuft.
