Kochia is green (Latin Kochia).
An annual plant forming an oval or pyramidal shrub with small, linear, narrow and light green leaves reaches a height of 120 cm. The flowers are inconspicuous, form spike-shaped or paniculate inflorescences. The fruit is a single-seeded nut.
The plant grows well in fertile and well-drained soils. Despite the fact that the plant is light-loving, it tolerates partial shade quite well.
