Forest kupir, forest carrot (lat. Anthriscus sylveistris)

Herbaceous biennial plant, up to 1.5 m high. The root is vertical, thick. The stem is erect, deeply furrowed, ribbed, pubescent and branched at the top.

The leaves are pubescent, triangular, large, the lower leaves have long petioles.

Umbrellas are collected in a corymbose inflorescence at the top of the stem and branches, with 8–15 equal bare rays.

The fruits are ovoid-elongated, laterally compressed, solitary, dark brown, shiny and smooth.

Blooms June-July. The fruits ripen in August-September.
