Catnip (lat. Nepeta cataria)

A perennial plant with a woody, branchy root. The stem is 40-100 cm high, strong, erect, fluffy.
The leaves are triangular-ovate with a heart-shaped base, sharp, large-toothed, pubescent.
The flowers are in dense complex half-cones, collected at the ends of the stem and branches in the form of a brush; the corolla is dirty white with purple or purple specks on the lower lip.
The fruit is a brown elliptical smooth nut. Blooms in June — July. The fruits ripen in July — August.
