Salvia sage Scarlet (lat. Salvia)

A perennial herbaceous plant, grown as an annual, 25 cm tall. The flowers are collected in spike-shaped inflorescences. The corolla and calyx are fiery red. Blooms profusely from June until the first autumn frosts.
Salvia require a sunny location. It prefers moderately fertile and loose soils, blooms poorly on moist and well-fertilized ones. Salvia is very effective in ceremonial and mixed compositions, flowerbeds, rabatkah.
Seeds are sown for seedlings in February – March, seedlings appear at a temperature of 21-24 0C. Seedlings are planted in the open ground at the end of May.
