Curly Kale cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. Sabellica)

An annual plant, often referred to as a salad. The reason for this is the absence of a head.
In the south, it is possible to grow Kale as a perennial plant. A vegetable covered for winter in early spring will delight with vitamin greens.
Curly leaves, green, purple, red, even almost black, forming lace, look very impressive. Their surface is smooth or with bubbles. The entire plant is decorated with rosette leaves dispersed along the stem, resembling a stalk, or located on its top. The trunk height is 40 - 50cm. Curly leaves are already distinguished by seedlings of Kale cabbage – according to this feature, it cannot be confused with seedlings of other plants.
Due to its bright appearance, curly cabbage is often used as a decor — as an element of decoration of gardens, vegetable gardens, suburban areas.
In cooking, there was a use for vegetable leaves without a stem, because the stem is too rough.
The harvest of a useful vegetable can be given more than once during the season: the place of the collected lace cabbage leaves will again be covered with leafy green lace.
