Hot pepper Scotch Bonnet yellow
It looks beautiful and has an interesting taste with notes of apple, tomato and cherry pepper Scotch Bonnet. The shape of the fruit resembles a Scottish hat, similar to the original Habanero, but slightly smaller in size.
Scotch Bonnet belongs to the well-known line of Caribbean peppers (they are the most burning and sharp). Also, the culture belongs to the category of Capsicum Chinense for its fruity sweet taste and warm sharpness. The severity score varies between 100,000 and 350,000 squovilles.
Pepper grows in semi-spreading bushes with fairly powerful stems. The height of the shoots reaches 70-80 cm, in greenhouses up to 120 cm. Average weight 30-40 g; the color of the fruit is yellow, then red; length 5-6 cm; diameter 3-4 cm. Scotch Bonnet brings up to 4-5 kg of fruit per 1 m2.
The growing season lasts 180-190 days until the moment of maturation. The variety belongs to the category of late-maturing species. The fruits are used for spicy snacks and sauces-adjika, lecho, aivar.
