Extremely sharp variety, yielding high yields of fruits 3.5 cm in length, 3.5 cm in diameter, wrinkled shape. The pods grow in bundles of 3-4 from each node. Rating on the Scoville scale is 150000-400000 SHU.
When ripe, the pods change color from light green with a hint of purple to mustard and orange. The plants are bushy, up to 75cm in height. The pulp of this hot pepper has a rich aroma of tropical fruits and a unique taste. The growing season to biological maturity is 200 days.
This variety, like other habaneros, is best grown in a greenhouse, it needs a hot summer so that the fruits fully ripen and reach their legendary sharpness. The variety is great for making hot sauces. Seeds can germinate slowly if conditions are not ideal.
