Pepper Naga Jolokia Tezpur (Capsicum chinense) is a perennial shrub, an excellent plant for container or pot culture.

The plant is 0.8-1.2 m tall, branched with elongated lanceolate leaves. Fruits are 10-12 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, on a long peduncle, slightly curved pods, often with folds and wrinkles. The walls of the fruit are thin. In technical ripeness, the fruit is green, in biological red.

It is considered one of the sharpest in the world - according to the Scoville scale, which characterizes the sharpness of pepper, it is estimated at 850,000 units (for comparison, Cayenne chili has 30,000 units).

The fruits are used to make hot sauces and spicy dry seasoning. It is easily grown from seeds and grows well and bears fruit in indoor conditions.
