The leaves are fan-shaped, bright green, and divided into segments approximately halfway down the leaf. The terminal lobes are deeply incised and have a curved, drooping shape.
The inflorescence is axillary.
Uses: For interior landscaping, conservatories, and greenhouses.
USDA Hardiness Zone: 8 (-12°C to -7°C).
Growing Conditions: Light: Prefers bright but indirect light. Temperature: Optimal winter temperatures are 14-16°C. Watering: Requires regular watering, but avoid overwatering. Soil: Requires loose, well-drained soil. Fertilizing: Can be fertilized with a complete fertilizer in summer.
Growing from seeds: Sow seeds in late winter or early spring. Before sowing, soak the seeds in warm water for up to 2 days, changing the water daily.
Place the seeds 1 cm deep in a mixture of equal parts peat and perlite, moisten, cover with plastic wrap, and store in a warm (25-28°C) location with filtered light. Air the seeds daily and monitor the soil moisture.
Sprouting usually occurs within 4-12 weeks. After the first true leaf unfurls, transplant the young plants into individual pots approximately 9-12 cm in diameter.
