Description:
A beautiful, tall shrub, growing from 2 to 5 m. The shoots are long, stiff, and vine-like.

The flowers are up to 10 cm in diameter, red, and lightly fragrant, and are gathered in inflorescences. Blooms from June to August.

Use:
Widely used in landscape design, they are often used to hide outbuildings that would spoil the overall appearance of a property.

Growing conditions:
Choose a sunny, wind-protected site for planting. They do not tolerate stagnant soil. Only loamy soil is suitable. Plant 1-3 m apart.

Frost hardiness:
Withstands frosts from -15°C to -23°C.

Growing from seed:
Stratification is necessary: soak the seeds in hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes; Place the seeds in a cloth soaked in hydrogen peroxide, place in a container, and refrigerate for 1.5-2 months. Inspect the seeds regularly and change the cloth if mold appears.
