The above-ground part of the plant is used - leaves and stems entirely, without crushing, in fresh or dried form. Greenery is cut during the period of mass flowering. Recommended for home cooking (salads, soups, meat, vegetable dishes), for flavoring vinegars and marinades, and for canning cucumbers. It is used as a medicinal plant - it is a good bactericidal and hemostatic agent.
