Which herb is easiest to grow from seed for beginners?

Willow - leaved derbennik, Loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria).

A perennial herbaceous plant, 80-140 cm high. The stem is straight, tetrahedral, usually branched in the upper part. The root is thick and woody. The lower leaves are usually opposite, less often whorled; the upper ones are oblong, up to 10 cm long.

The flowers are numerous, star-shaped, small, up to 1 cm in diameter, collected in dense spike-shaped inflorescences located in the axils of the bracts. The corolla is purple, petals are up to 14 mm long.

The fruit is an oblong-oval capsule 3-4 mm long, the seeds are small.

Blooms in July-August, bears fruit in August.

Used in folk medicine, as well as as an ornamental and melliferous plant.
