A perennial plant. Rhizome with tuberous thickenings ("nuts") on the roots.

The stem is straight, thin, 80 cm high. Leaves in the basal rosette, pinnate.

The flowers are small, white or whitish, six-petalled. Inflorescences are multi-flowered, corymbose-paniculate. The fruits are pubescent leaflets. Blooms in June — July. The fruits ripen in July — August.
