Description:
A perennial medicinal plant growing up to 120 cm tall.

The leaves are grayish-green, velvety, and elliptical.

The inflorescences are small heads (up to 10 mm in diameter) with tubular, yellowish flowers. Blooms from June to September.

The fruit is an achene. Fruiting occurs in August and September.

Uses:

Growing conditions:
Can be planted in any sunny location. Undemanding and winter-hardy. It is undemanding regarding soil, but prefers well-drained, cultivated soil.

Growing from seed:
