A fast-growing perennial liana, grown as an annual. Yellow, red, bright orange narrow-tube flowers, almost closed in the throat, are magnificent. Inflorescences are a brush up to 15 cm long. The compound leaves consist of 3-7 pointed leaflets.
The vistula clings to any support with numerous bunches of tiny tendrils, rising in one season to a height of up to 3 m. The vine is decorative throughout the summer with its delicate dark green foliage, and brightly colored, like splashes, tubular flowers are not afraid even of the first autumn frosts.
Sowing: seeds February-March for seedlings. Lightly sprinkle the crops with earth, water and cover with glass. Seeds germinate in 12-15 days. At the end of May, the plants are planted in an open pound at a distance of 30 cm from each other. Seeds can be sown in the open ground in May.
