One of the oldest varieties. Bred in Iran. Ripens quite late.

Large (up to 8 cm long) fruits with a dark yellow or brownish skin. The stone is large and easily separated from the pulp. This is the main raw material for the production of silane - date honey.

Undemanding to soils. Tolerates shade, although prefers brightly lit areas.
