Magnolia Champaca.

An evergreen tree up to 50 m high. Can be grown in containers and flowerpots.

The leaves are oblong, pointed, smooth, leathery, 10-30 cm long, 4.5-10 cm wide, dark green.

The flowers are apical, fragrant. Tepals in number from 15 to 20, yellow in color, oblanceolate in shape. Blooms from June to July.

Fruits are 7-15 cm long. Fruits are obovate or elliptical, with 2-4 seeds. Fruiting is from September to October.

Prefers a sunny location. The soil is light drained, rich in microelements. Soil acidity is closer to neutral (Ph=7).
