Evergreen tree up to 18 m high.

The leaves are alternate, pinnately compound, with a thin, green-reddish, tinged axis and from 6 to 12 pairs of leaflets on short petioles, rounded at both ends.

The flowers are yellow, 2.5 cm in diameter, collected in inflorescences.

The plant loves bright light and fertile, well-drained soil.
