Thespesia populnea.

An evergreen ornamental shrub or tree up to 600 cm high, when grown indoors no higher than 150 cm.

The leaves are large, dense, heart-shaped in the upper part, pointed, up to 12 cm long.

Cup-shaped flowers are 5-8 cm in diameter, orange-yellow in color, which changes to pale red over time. Blooms throughout the year.

Prefers sunny places. The soil is nutritious, light and well-permeable (pH from 7 to 7.4).
