Basma K has an average number of medium–sized sessile leaves for basmas - 14-15. Their texture is of medium thickness, elastic, soft and durable. The leaves are velvety to the touch. The flowers are light red, sometimes with yellowness. The average height of the plant is 70 cm . The vegetation period is 124 days.

The taste of tobacco is soft, sweet and fragrant. Basma K is used primarily to add flavor and sweetness to the bag. It has good flammability and moderate hygroscopicity. The nicotine content is about 1 percent. Not only the hot dry climate, but also the soil is crucial for the yield of highly aromatic raw materials.
