Store the material in a cool place (you can use a refrigerator). For a successful storage period, wrap the seeds in a cloth (cotton cloth) and moisten it.
In mid-spring (early April), the seeds can be planted. Prepare a container with sand and clay, deepen the seeds, and pour a small layer of water (only tap water can be used, running water will not do). The appearance of a few leaves indicates that it is time to transfer the mullet to the reservoir. Mushrooms should be planted in such a pond, where the soil is rich in humus and peat, rather clayey. At home, mussels are planted in artificial ponds. In standing water, the plant grows very quickly, forming green thickets.
Caring for such an interesting flower is simple and requires little effort. For a long time, the flowers are a joy to the eye, simple rules should be followed:
Lighting. The plant is very fond of bright terrain, so the mounds will be comfortable in a body of water that is well heated by direct sunlight. Flowing water that is in the shade will not allow the plants to develop well. We recommend planting the mussels in warm, bright bodies of water.
Temperature regime. The water temperature depends on the stage the plant is at. During propagation by rhizome, the optimum temperature for the mound - 8-12 degrees. Leaves will appear after transplanting into aquarium soil. Fast growth and development of the plant requires a water temperature of 18-24 degrees. Cucurbits are frost-resistant, but as soon as the water starts to freeze, it should be drained and the flowers should be covered with fallen leaves.
Watering. Cucurbita grows in a reservoir, accordingly, it does not need to be watered.
Humidity. The seeds of the plant, located in the air sac, are floating. In this case, the water spreads them around the pond. Birds that like to eat flower seeds will spread them over long distances.
