A species of woody vines from the genus Drevogubets of the Euonymus family.

A climbing, woody, deciduous vine up to 8–12 m high.

The leaves are alternate, simple, ovate, up to 8 cm long, green in color. In autumn the color changes to yellow.

The flowers are small, yellowish-white. Flowering in June-July.

The fruit is 4-6 mm in diameter, yellow fruit-pods with seeds, ripen in August-September.

Cultivated as an ornamental plant, not edible. Among other things, the plant is used to create hedges, including those used for decorative fences and various outbuildings.
