Black Soybean

Description:
An annual legume growing 60-120 cm tall. A mid-early, productive variety. The growing season is 100-120 days. Flowering depends on the climate, usually 1-2 months after germination. Flowering time depends on sowing time: in warmer regions, this can be July, while in more northern latitudes, it can be late summer.

The beans resemble coffee beans in shape, size, and color. They are initially green, then brown, and eventually turn completely black. The flavor is richer, more oily, and sweeter than yellow soybeans.

Uses:
For making a coffee substitute, used in cooking for a variety of dishes, such as soups and snacks, and is also used to produce soy milk and other products.

Growing Conditions:
Prefers non-acidic and non-saline soils.

Growing from seed:
Sowing: It is recommended to sow soybean seeds at a depth of 3-4 cm, but the soil must be sufficiently warmed, so reduce the sowing depth for early sowing and increase it for late sowing.

Space between plants: 20-25 cm, row spacing: 40-50 cm.

Care: Post-emergence harrowing, systematic soil loosening, weeding, fertilizing, watering during flowering, pod formation, and seed filling.
