The Red Riding Hood bean grows in the form of low, up to 35 cm, bushes with spreading branches and yellow-green leaves, at the time of flowering, spreading white flowers.
According to the maturation period, the variety is a medium-ripened crop, reaching technical ripeness (when pods with unripe beans are formed) 55-65 days after planting, and full fruit ripening within 100 days.
